A restaurant founded on the communal feeling of Ethiopian culture, Mesob spreads its warmth and welcome to all.
In the native language, Mesob refers to small, traditional woven tables where people gather to share a communal meal–and that’s just what you can do at the Mesob restaurant. Dine overlooking the bustling sidewalk or choose to be secluded away from it all. Cozy up in their elegant, bright dining room that is wonderfully decorated with tapestries and leatherwork from Eritrea that bring out a festive feeling for all patrons. The sheik feel, with its gold-columned lighting and earth-tone walls, is welcoming and exciting at the same time. The menu is full of traditional, Ethiopian fare served atop injera–a large, crepe-like bread that serves as plate and utensil. It’s different, delicious, and fun. Mesob is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday and private party seating is available. For some different tastes in a lively, softly-lit atmosphere where flavor and tradition reign supreme, grab a table at Mesob.
